Since rebranding from Asheville Micro Events to Asheville Weddings and Events, I haven’t formally introduced myself on my business page!
My name is Anna Britt, but some of you may also know me as A.B. I am a wedding planner, professional party enthusiast, and your go-to person for making things happen.
A bit about me:
-I am an Asheville Native.
-A proud member of the Lumbee Tribe.
-I have a bachelor’s degree in business management from Mars Hill University.
-I’m a Capricorn, and I take that to heart, lol
-I prefer television and movies over my phone.
-I have a Rotweiller named Motley Rue, and she’s my favorite thing in the world.
-I can fold a fitted sheet really well. Thanks, Mom.
-I overuse exclamation points. I’ve already gone through this whole post, deleting some. 🙃
-I can’t whistle. Something I’m currently working on!
-My life’s motto is “Slow down, you’re doing fine,” from the song Vienna by Billy Joel. I think this song is about the passage of time, self-reflection, and the importance of balance in life. To not rush through life or feel pressured to achieve everything all at once. I have big dreams and aspirations. This song reminds me that there's time to pursue dreams and goals and that life doesn't have to be a constant race. 🤍
-I cry every time I cut my hair. 😂
-I’ve worked almost 100 weddings in the past three years since officially opening my business.
I turned my love for celebrations into a business. I think I’m best known for my creativity, organization, fun approach, and calming nature.
It’s important to me that each event reflects each client’s unique personality and desires!
