It is with great sadness and no small amount of regret that we announce we will not be reopening after Helene. OTD has a different vision for our current location (and we wish them the best and thank them for everything they’ve done) and we feel given everything that happened we can serve our Wnc people more consistently now in the catering space. Should you want our interesting blend of east and west flavors it will be available for private events of all kinds through Ciao Y'all Event Catering. I would like to say that when we were killing it and serving you it was some of the best days of my life. Black Mountain accepted me in a way that no place has in my nomad experience. You are an amazing bunch of people and I hope to be a part of your story again in the future. Thank you black mountain. I love you and bowl in the wall loves you. See you soon. Promise.

To all those that are worried about McKenzie and I. We have out this official statement.

Sorry for the delayed response. We’ve had no cell service for 2 days. We’re ok. House is fine. No water no power. We’re ok on food. We’ve taken everything from the commissary we had prepped for this week’s event and opened the food truck for our neighbors. It’s keeping us busy. Thanks for checking in on us. We hope every one is safe.
