Announcing auditions for RSVP’s Summer 2025 musical, Something Rotten! (Book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell; music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick)
Auditions will be held Saturday, May 10th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and Monday, May 12th from 6:30-8:30 pm at Randolph Studios located at 154 S. Fayetteville St in Asheboro (enter at the Survey Carolina awning and head upstairs).
Director Philip Homiller and Music Director Kathleen Gee have asked auditioners to prepare 16 bars from a song of their choosing (accompaniment will be available or bring your own music only track.). Choreographer Elizabeth Perry has asked that auditioners wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be prepared to learn a brief dance number.
The directors are looking to cast men, women and teens (ages 13 and up) for all roles. More information about the show and roles will be posted in the comments.
Performances will be July 25-27 and August 1-3, 2025 at the Historic Sunset Theatre in downtown Asheboro, NC.
Something Rotten! is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
