No cheese today! We had a busy Thanksgiving, and I am so thankful for the clients who shared their festivities with our boards. Today, we are enjoying my hubby's Spanish tortilla, sangria, and Natalia's banana bread, all while watching my favorite Christmas movie: Love Actually! Life is good!

Featured Cheese:

Harbison: Harbison is a soft-ripened cheese with a rustic, bloomy rind. Young cheeses are wrapped in strips of spruce cambium, the tree's inner bark layer. Pudding-like, gently funky, and woodsy, this cheese from Vermont's Jasper Hill Farm goes with everything.

If you like to contact me, I prefer email or text message over calls, last year I was receiving an average of 40 spam calls a day so I may not be answering calls at all this year. Updates and looking forward!

I know it has been a while and I hope all is well with you.

I have made a few changes on my schedule and on the way I do business.

Since I started my business back in 2020 I have been getting up at 3 am to go to work, leaving me with more time during business hours for The Cornichon. That schedule has taken a toll on me, so I have switched to a more family friendly schedule.

That means I am not as available to take last minute orders, but with planning I can have your orders ready to go when you need them. I would greatly appreciate if you reach out at least 72 hrs prior to your desired pick up time. You can always reach out to me via email if you need something last minute, because my days off change weekly, I may be able to do a last minute order but there is a possibility that I won't be able to.

I cannot thank my clients enough for all the support!

I have been thinking of things to offer this summer for the 4th of July and during the warm summer days.

I have a few things I would like to try:

Watermelon Cake: I did one last year and posted on Instagram, you are welcome to take a look.

Picnic Box: Sandwiches, Potato Salad and a little cheese and charcuterie.

Caprese Salad: Peaches, sun ripened tomatoes, cherries, charcuterie and Burrata which I plan to offer as a 4th of July special. This only works with ordering the Burrata from our wholesaler(the best one I ever had) and it has a short shelf life, so I can only make it if there is enough interest. Send me an email if you would like one.

New Cheese:

Rattlesnake Cheddar: From Deer Creek Creamery, this cheese is a champion. Infused with Habanero peppers and tequila, it's great on a board or on a grilled cheese sandwich. We would love to sell it directly to you but be warned, it bites! Very spicy and yet delicious!

Harvest Moon: From 5 Spokes Creamery, it's similar to Mimolette but better. This beautiful moonscape like cheese has a hint of butterscotch, sweet and tangy, it's bright orange color stand out on our boards.
Caveman Blue: From Rogue Creamery, it's the little brother of the Best Cheese In The World 2019. Creamy with notes of sh*take mushrooms, golden beets and brown butter, this cheese is mild and a favorite of many cheese aficionados.

NOT! April's Fool Day! 😂😂😂 We are still going strong! I couldn't help passing along this little prank. To make up for it, how about some upgraded items in our Small Box (feeds up to 3 people) and a $10 off from the listed price for the first few days of April. This offer expires on April 4th.
