Last week at the Brooke Rental Center in Purcellville a grand opening was celebrated. The group from Hunt Country Celebrations gathered there for the big day. Spring tulips from Etten’s Eden brightened up smilax draped candelabras.

Did you know…?
– Tulips keep growing after they’re cut (up to an inch!)—always reaching for the light.
– These spring beauties aren’t actually Dutch—they hail from Central Asia and were once so prized in the Netherlands, people traded them for houses!
– With over 3,000 varieties, they come in nearly every color except true blue.
– Their petals are edible (yes, really!) and were even eaten during WWII.

Tulips are the ultimate sign that spring has officially arrived being one of the first flowers to bloom. I have enjoyed seeing them standing so tall and graceful.

Flower bars/pop ups are super popular and a great way to celebrate your employees, clients, residents, staff. This was a sweet one that River Creek Club had set up for their Galentine’s Day event several weeks ago. I was super jealous because this was going to be an all out event on a Wednesday night —bar, DJ, lighting, flowers❤️‍🔥.

River Creek Club hosted a lovely gathering several weeks ago for local brides and invitees planning special events. My floral arrangements definitely embodied the essence of “Welcome Spring” and were warmly received. I’m excited for everything that the upcoming season has in store—inspiring workshops, unforgettable weddings, joyful bridal showers, and other spectacular gala events.

A very special rehearsal/welcome luncheon in October for my friend like family’s son and daughter in law at Kalero Vineyard with an Italian theme. The newly wed couple honeymooned in Italy so the theme used lots of 🍋 lemons iconic to the Amalfi coast. The venue, the food and the decor were all lovingly prepared for this event by longtime friends. Congratulations, Lauren and Jack! 🎉
