For a while now we were not too happy with how our website looked (a little outdated tbh) and how disorganized/cluttered with info it was. I began the redesign process last year & after many days glued to the computer doing revisions and getting feedback from friends and family, I felt like this was it.
During the winter (slow season for picnics) - I found myself with some more free time in my hands so I got to learning- spent weeks studying about the importance of content hierarchy, the meaning behind colors, and how important customer experience is - The journey involved countless revisions, but with each edit I made, I witnessed the transformation into a space that truly represents our brand essence!
All of this was done with the goal of making it super easy for our clients to navigate and find exactly what they are looking for. No more unnecessary elements or info! So excited for this re-design to stay as we grow our small biz.

This past week has been a little crazy… the winter has slowed down biz a bit for us giving us the perfect chance to get organized and get prepared for the warmer weather.
Around the beginning of March, we started getting quite a few inquiries for picnics, both romantic picnics and larger picnic parties. Something we didn’t expect was that our clients would be booking us 2 to 3 months in advance! (Yep.. we’ve got some bookings even in June😱) since this is happening, we no longer require at least 1-week advance notice for parties over 7 guests, but at least a 4-week advance notice! The earlier you book, the better 💪

The tables were a bit heavy to carry and I’m surprised I got them inside the house. Even my husband (when he helped me break everything down) said that he was proud of me for carrying these myself💪🙌🥹 Aside from that, everything else went very smooth- my client Komal was awesome (when are my clients not?!) and she was excited to see the final result - as was I 🤪 I wanted to share this because many times I have felt not capable of doing certain things/projects because they seemed daunting, and something that I like to do is check on awesome women entrepreneurs who are killing it and they’re doing these awesome things by themselves— no husband, no help from anybody else, just them. I am so grateful that I do have an amazing husband who helps me out when he can and when he’s not able to, I know I’ve got it.
