Nobody tells you this about the wedding industry, but sometimes you need to crawl through the sh*t for your couples! This nor’easter forced us to pivot. I don’t think anyone expected the bridge to close, and with everyone’s safety on the line, the wedding was out of everyone’s hands. But when your bride looks at you and says “All I want to do is get married today,” you just find a way. A sweet neighbor of the bride’s family opened her home, we navigated the roads, and friends and family rallied to make it happen!
Thank you to every vendor who helped through such a tough call! I know how much you cared!!! Shoutout to glam, Billie Curtis Reuter-Cranmer and Mary | NJ Lash Tech and Makeup Artist, who made it there and got stranded 😅 And to Lily In the Valley Florist for being the last truck out of BH before the road closures to get the beautiful florals there! 🤍
Thank you to everyone who reached out…to the LBI community, friends, and my bride network who helped me navigate and had all 👀 on the Blvd as we made it safely from the north end to Brant.
