Paige and Ryan at Rumson Riverhouse 💞

These layered hydrangea columns were something we were really excited about.

Sculptural, fluffy, a cloud-like design.

A place that is typically a more classic, slightly preppy and dare we say nautical-esque location? This contrasting pairing of a more contemporary design and traditional club-style venue sounded like a fun change up to us!

We are still totally here for a classic look, (hello all calla bouquet) as well as a textured-garden meadow…BUT we did have a lot of fun pairing sharp lines and clean colors to bring this look to life for these two 🥝 🪩

Not to mention we got our hands on the last of this dreamy local vibernum before the rain had its way with it!

Sometimes a drizzly April day is kinda the vibe…

Amy and Ford were such a pleasure to work with from start to finish! They wanted a simple and elegant wedding with predominantly white blooms but some subtle spring hues as well.

We tucked in super delicate varieties like the TONS of bleeding hearts, sweet peas, violas and fragrant hyacinth too.

Seeing some friendly and familiar faces at Rumson Riverhouse was also a nice bonus!

A sweet batmitzvah for Scarlett today in Rumson… it was a little drizzly outside but sometimes the rain just adds to the moodiness am I right?!

These yellow garden roses had the most beautiful foliage (all rose leaves are not created equal) and the length of the stems was bananas 🍌

A blossom branch explosion of all of our faves, local spires from Cherry and forsythia just made us giddy for the spring season to really get goinggggg

Next week we have all our restaurants and the first wedding of the season!! Spring lets gooo!!

It’s spring baby!

We celebrated spring equinox when we threw our springtide party years back and it still brings a smile to my face.

We were lucky enough to get out the word via tri city news and we were so shocked at the amount of you who came to support!

Friends and new faces trickled out onto the bangs avenue sidewalk, kids played tag amidst edible art, a bunny bounced around for a bit, vinyls were spun, mexican bevvies were had… It was the best coming of spring party we could have imagined!

Brains colliding with soon for the next funky fun dream 💭

Hi! I’m Chelsie. The face behind Flowerchild 👋🏼

I don’t show face on here much, trying to get better at that. It’s a new year with new followers, so I figured it’s sorta timely to say hello.

I love my job so much, truly I’m incredibly lucky! I grew up in this industry and I’m so grateful to have been exposed to a career path that really is based in art and creativity, I love working with my hands. I get excited by colors and textures. By interpreting a persons style and story.

Flowerchild is a teeny tiny woman owned and operated studio located inside the historic studebaker building.

We specialize in weddings and special events.

We somehow got into restaurants as well, but choose to keep accounts to a minimum. We’re so crazy happy where we’re at right now. Honored!

We love to dream up a funky collab to kick off the year so stay tuned to see what we can come up with, I’m sure it will be fun!!!
