Hello everyone, as you may or may not know our very own Alexia was pregnant with twins and was originally due October 8th. She had to deliver June 30th due to some complications and she and Jose have been living in Albuquerque so they can be with their precious baby boys every day.

The boys are doing great but we ask for you all to keep praying for them. They are at the weight necessary to come home but need to reduce oxygen requirements.

We have closed our storefront for the duration of their stay and for some time after they are discharged so mom, dad, and babies can bond. We anticipate operating at some capacity in November. We are working on a location to call home and ask that you please be patient with us during these difficult times.

For the time being, same day orders are not available. We are requiring all orders be placed at least a week ahead of the date of delivery. This ensures that we have the best possible product available for you.

We will be selling $10 enchilada plates Wednesday September 7th. Each plate will come with your choice of 3 stacked red beef, green chicken, or either sauce cheese and will include rice, charro beans, and a cup of banana pudding. We are asking that everyone pre-pays for their orders by sending payment to:

The Artesia Splash Pad has been closed for 2 years.
At this time, it is inoperable and decisions must be made, in order for the community to have a functioning area by next season.
At the direction of the City Council tonight, an effort to gain community input will be made regarding what our citizens want and need.
Here are the 4 options on the table, provided to us by extensive research by the Infrastructure Department.

1. A fast fix. Roughly $5-$7k. An estimated 90% repair for an unknown time.
2. A rough rehab. $125-$175k. Operable, new plumbing, many parts of the area will still be using obsolete parts(control panel) that will create an issue in the future again.
3. Tear out, rebuild. $300k. New, enlarged, upgraded. This option will allow us to purchase equipment that will monitor itself, ensuring no staff will need to be hired for the area.
4. Tear out, do away with, focus on the pool for water play.

There will be various efforts to put this info out, to garner attention from citizens and to get your opinions. Public interest must be gauged in order to truly begin a discussion on budget and funding.
