A few days away and mostly a deep dive into Fielding Rodriguez content. It was so incredible wearing my designs everywhere we went and having women compliment me and ask where I got my hat or my dress or my caftan. Replying: it's my label, Fielding Rodriguez -- gives me such a thrill. The life of an entrepreneur is not an easy one but so gratifying to build something from nothing and know it was just you and your vision behind the dream.

One day I hope my ecommerce fashion brand is as wildly successful as my private cheffing and boutique catering career. I am going about it the same way I built Secret Ingredients -- one client and one plate at a time. FR is no different -- one design, one sale, and in'shallah we will be a recognized brand stitch by stitch. To think this all started with a trip to Morocco two years ago... not bad for a novice who fell in love with an exotic aesthetic and married it with my own East Coast version of preppy chic. .

First panzanella of the season with heirlooms and fresh basil, grilling as much as possible and cherries and strawberries that taste like candy. Spring summer are the most delicious seasons.

My most favorite clients and my most favorite place on earth to chef just got exponentially more my favoritest... they added horses and world class equestrian center to their property. This was a perfect day.
