🔴Join us at this year’s Sibley County Fair for our Red, White & Blue Bake & Taste Contest on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM!

⚪️In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, we’re bringing the patriotic spirit to the kitchen—where creativity, flavor, and pride come together. 🫡 🇺🇸

🔵This year’s challenge: create a Red, White & Blue cake featuring cream cheese, and don’t forget—your entry will also be judged on how you incorporate those bold patriotic colors! 🇺🇸🎂

✔️ No pre-entry required
✔️ One entry per person (Adult & Youth categories available)
✔️ Bring your entry to the Fair Office by 1:45 PM
✔️ Include your recipe + 4 pieces for judging
✨As a bonus, every participant will receive a complimentary cream cheese gift certificate, generously provided by Winthrop Grocery!

Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just love a fun challenge, this is your chance to be part of a tradition—and celebrate 250 years of American pride in the sweetest way possible.

Need some plans for this coming Saturday? Head on over to the racetrack here at the Sibley County Fairgrounds, and take in some of the best IMCA racing action on dirt in the country!! 🏎️

The Allen’s at Arlington Raceway-Official Page put together one heck of a program with the best victory lane around for the kids to see the winning drivers and cars up close!

It’s a weekly Saturday night show that is also part of the FIVE BEST DAYS OF SUMMER, where we have FIVE nights of non stop action.

Catch the green flag at 7:00pm this Saturday and also during the fair! 🏁

This Saturday night is sure to be a great night with superior racing and great weather. Join us for some of the best races in the midwest!

📕‼ℹ Important Premium Book Announcement ℹ‼📕

Thank you for your interest in the Sibley County Fair and our Premium Book! We are days away from releasing a digital version with more content!

We wanted to remind you that there are changes from year to year, including our Premium Book. In 2026, we are starting the transition from print to online. Only a fraction of the normal amount of Premium Books will be printed, but you can access everything on our website (www.sibleycountyfair.com) at any time, and that will allow us to make last minute changes to schedules if need be. And, you are still able to print the book, OR, just print the page(s) you need to, helping save a tree in the process. Pocket schedules will take the place of the Premium Book, still providing you with pertinent information regarding the Sibley County Fair.

There has been much planning and preparing everything behind the scenes to make this the Best Little Fair in Minnesota! You will see there is a lot to offer in these five days, and we hope you are able to find plenty to see and do. As always, if you have suggestions or would like to get involved in some capacity, please visit with a Fair Board member.

🐎 A MASSIVE THANK YOU & EARLY UNVEILING!

Earlier this year, we announced some exciting improvements coming to the horse barn. While we had hoped to share photos once everything was set up and in place, today's events deserve recognition first.

This morning, our shipment of new Lakeland horse stalls arrived. What we expected to be a straightforward unload quickly turned into a much bigger task when we discovered that all 40+ stall panels needed to be unloaded by hand!

With several board members unavailable during the delivery, we found ourselves in need of some extra muscle. A quick call to Haggenmiller Lumber Inc. for supplies turned into much more when the team graciously offered their help.

Their willingness to jump in at a moment's notice is a perfect example of the incredible support our fair receives from sponsors, local businesses, and community members. It’s because of people like these that we’re able to continue improving the fairgrounds and preserving the traditions that make our fair so special.

A huge thank you goes out to Ethan and Alex for helping tackle the unload, as well as Tim, Spencer, and the entire crew at Haggenmiller Lumber for keeping things running back at the yard while they lent a hand.

We can't wait to show you the finished setup, but for now, here's an early look at what's to come!

The rabbit barn is getting a fresh new coat of paint thanks to the hard work of the Arlington Conquerors 4-H Club!🍀 .. maybe this is where all the rabbits came from?? 😎

This project is part of their Community Pride initiative, demonstrating their commitment to giving back and making a positive impact in our community. We appreciate their dedication and effort in helping keep our facilities looking their best!

We will share some finished pictures but we’d love you to come see their finished project at the Sibley County fair! Thank you again Arlington Conquerors and their dedicated parents!!
