Let’s talk cake cutting!

It’s one of the most photographed moments of your reception—but there’s more to it than just slicing into something sweet.

Here’s what every couple should know:
• Timing is key. Cake cutting usually signals guests that it’s okay to start saying their goodbyes. A well-timed cut keeps your reception flowing naturally.
• Let your DJ or MC know. They’ll cue your guests and make sure the moment doesn’t go unnoticed.
• Make sure your coordinator is looped in. I’ll ensure your utensils are in place, your photographer is ready, and the next part of your evening flows seamlessly.
