Today we’re introducing the woman who started it all—our founder, owner, and lead planner, Catherine! 🥂
With over 12 years of experience in the events industry, Catherine founded Boizelle Affaires out of a love for bringing people together and creating beautiful, meaningful celebrations. From intimate gatherings to large-scale weddings and corporate events, she loves the thoughtful details, personal connections, and logistics that bring an event to life.
When she’s not planning events, you’ll likely find her spending time with her husband and three little ones, teaching a fitness class, or baking something homemade in her kitchen!
Her favorite wedding day moment: Too many sweet moments to choose from, but if I had to pick one, the mother-son dance. As a mom whose oldest is a boy, this one gets me every single time. I can’t help but imagine dancing with my own son on his wedding day someday. Cue all the feels!
A few fun facts about Catherine:
✨ I once spent four weeks backpacking through four countries in Europe with one of my best girlfriends—and we happened to be in Istanbul during a coup attempt! Needless to say, it was a trip I’ll never forget.
✨ I studied dance in college and am now a certified Barre and Pilates Reformer instructor. Movement has always been a big part of my life.
✨ I played the clarinet in middle school and earned multiple superior ratings at competitions.
✨ I’m a mom of three; two of which were born at home. When I’m not answering emails, drafting timelines, or executing events I’m out adventuring with these three!
✨ I love baking with my kids and creating family traditions in the kitchen. Some of my favorites are pumpkin chocolate chip muffins in the fall, homemade cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve and hot cross buns on Good Friday.
After more than a decade in the events industry, my favorite part of this work is still the people. It’s such a privilege to be trusted with life’s most meaningful celebrations!
