That ~just married~ bliss with Lissa + Ian, directly after their backyard wedding ceremony.

One of my favorite ways to cap off a ceremony is 20-30 minutes with my couple, taking super informal and intimate portraits. I rarely have to give much direction during these times because there’s just such organic emotion after saying I do! Part of telling your story is capturing all the feels of your day for you to relive years and years later.

So.. some news! I’m moving! You might know I was born + raised in Michigan before moving to the DC area in 2014 for college. The 8 years we’ve spent here have been incredible, but Barrett and I have been feeling the pull to make the mitten home for a while now. We’re incredibly excited to be relocating to Grand Rapids in June of this year! We’ll be moving into a 1920s bungalow + be within a 2 hour radius of basically my entire family. My midwest heart is very happy. Current clients, don’t sweat - I’ve still got you! Swipe to read more deets about what relocating will entail.
