Welcome, sweet baby Levi. 💙🌿🍯

For Levi’s newborn session, Mom and Dad chose a cozy palette of deep greens and soft blues to complement his nursery colors, with one very special little nod to his Winnie the Pooh theme. 🍯

I love incorporating meaningful details into a newborn session in a way that still feels timeless. From the rich wood tones and soft textures to that tiny Pooh-inspired outfit, every setup was created to feel like him and to coordinate beautifully with the space his parents have already prepared for him at home.

Your baby is already a month old? Please don’t assume you’ve missed your chance for newborn photos! When you’ve been dreaming of your little one’s newborn session, timing is as important as planning it 🩷

I do not turn babies away simply because they’re past the traditional newborn window. Every baby deserves to have this season documented, whether they’re 8 days old or 4 weeks old.

But this is also why I encourage families to book their newborn session before baby arrives, when possible of course.

My calendar often fills several months in advance, so if you wait until baby is already a week old to reach out, my next available date may not be until they’re closer to one month old.

And at that age, your session may look a little different.

For older newborns, I follow baby’s cues and prioritize their comfort and safety over achieving traditional newborn poses. You may see more natural positioning, relaxed poses, beautiful awake moments, and all those little expressions that start appearing as they grow. I will never force a baby into a pose simply for the sake of getting the shot.

So no, one month old is not too late! 🗓️

But if you’re dreaming of those sleepy, curled-up newborn images, booking during pregnancy gives us the best opportunity to photograph baby during that tiny newborn stage.
