🔥PAST SELF is a Las Vegas-based Darkwave and Shoegaze band. Known for their swirling guitar tones, distinct image, and unique blend of 🇰🇷Korean and English lyrics that the band has dubbed “K-Goth.” ✏️”A seamless interpenetration of haunting darkness and spellbinding light, cloaked in moping introspection and gothic sensitivity.” -White Light//White Heat📌

Hailing from the underground post-punk scene, 🔥THE TRUE FAITH has quickly established itself as a formidable force in modern alternative music. The band blends atmospheric melodies with driving rhythms, evoking the dark romanticism of ⭐️The Cure, the anthemic power of ⭐️early U2, and the brooding intensity of ⭐️The Chameleons and ⭐️The Sound.

🌲⏳Early 7:30 show SUNDAY 8/3 in ARCATA‼️ 🔥Derya Yıldırım and Grup Şimşek from Berlin are internationally recognized for their unique sound combining Anatolian folk with psychedelia, pop and soul influences.🌍

The band is fronted by Hamburg-born 🎤singer and bağlama player ⭐️Derya Yıldırım. Despite being multilingual, Yıldırım exclusively sings in Turkish. Newly signed to 💿Big Crown Records, with their third full length produced by Leon Michels (⭐️EL MICHELS AFFAIR), the band includes members of the South African DIY scene plus outer-national collective 💿Catapulte Records.

With local DJ 🪩Woolly Bully Bill❗️Plus 🎤🐐Karaoke afterwards at a delayed start time.🕰️ 21 & up only.

🎻🎸🪕This FRIDAY 3/21 at 7:30, a FREE bluegrass show❤️‍🔥‼️ In the magical world of Old Growth Redwoods🌲 and The Legendary Bigfoot 👣, 🔥 A Banjo Makes 3 was born. An upright bass, guitar, and banjo joined forces in the Humboldt music scene.

After a few open jams, ⭐️Doc Woglom was recruited on the mandolin, bringing a chop and lonesome vocals to make a true traditional bluegrass band. Guitarist ⭐️Charlie Sleep has an extensive background in jazz and music theory. After being introduced to ⭐️Tony Rice, bluegrass nestled into his heart. After attending a master class with the influential David Grier, flatpicking was in his hands. ⭐️Kevin Ralston of Cedar Rapids, Iowa makes for a true bluegrass band with his 3-finger Scruggs style picking. A proud member of the California Bluegrass Association, we have ⭐️Larisa Sleep on bass. Since 2019, A Banjo Makes 3 has been working to keep traditional bluegrass alive in Humboldt County.
