To all colleagues in the food service industry. We better tighten up. Foodborne illness is no joke. NEVER a time to be complacent with proper food handling procedures, temperatures, and holding times.
I bet many can relate, food service people just don't eat on the regular.
So one bad undercooked chicken experience at an establishment this evening is demoralizing. By the time I could take it back, they were closing up shop and no one to turn to.
Reminder to not take for granted that food can make us sick.
