YES! We are doing Reggae.
The Volunteer People is running Traffic and Parking again for Reggae on the River 2026. While this is a recent change and we are prepared and excited to support the community for this wonderful event.
We were approached by the Reggae Festival Management Team this last Monday to gauge our ability and availability to do the 2026 event. We knew we were ready - we had just successfully completed Northern Nights Music Festival at the same location. After much discussion amongst our own team we made the group decision that supporting our community and our Reggae on the River was no decision at all- We had to give it our all. We came to an agreement with them Wednesday night.
We were not involved and do not know why we were asked, only that when asked we replied with our motto “We’ll do anything that moves!”
The shortened time frame does mean we are hustling a bit over the next weeks. We have re-opened up our volunteer sign up. Our staff are committed and returning after doing an incredible job at Northern Nights. Our plan is sound, we know the job, we have great notes on improvements to make from last year, we have a fantastic team, and we love the community.
Volunteer with us right now !
