HLO Kidco KidCo is the youth division of HLOC. We offer fall, spring and summer class sessions that each culminate in an end of term performance. And, it’s fun!

KidCo was established in 1998 to teach a new generation about American Musical Theatre. The goal of KidCo is to provide quality education in the skills of musical theatre. Singing, dancing, and acting are taught in combination with theatre games and stage etiquette. KidCo instructors are all trained vocalists with strong backgrounds in dance and acting. Through creative curriculum and positive ene

rgy, these experienced staff members guide the KidCo students towards learning not only the next musical or dance step, but teamwork, discipline and skill. Children who participate in a performing arts program team learn about themselves and the world around them. Training in the performing arts has long been recognized as a strong self-esteem builder. Youth with high self esteem are in a better position to develop academic excellence and prepare for a vital adult life.

Fall KidCo starts September 9th!
Now that we are all officially "back to school", we wanted to extend a warm welcome to our Fall Session of Musical Theater Training classes.

Fall session will start next week and conclude at the beginning of November with an in class performance. Soon after, on November 9th, we will have auditions for our Spring 2025 production of Alice in Wonderland Jr! If you are interested in that opportunity, we highly recommend polishing up the essential skills for the stage with our weekly classes.
