The One Take Wonder. 🎬✨
I’d just stepped off a 2-day ballroom competition in San Diego and was knee-deep in acting class rehearsals when this audition for Turn The Damn Bus Around hit my inbox.
I sat down, found the heart of “John” (your new favorite blue-collar hero), and let it rip. One take. No overthinking. Just grounded, raw dimension. 🚌💨
That one take turned into a booking that made me a regular in the vertical drama world!
Advice to my fellow actors: When that phone rings, if you can make it work, ALWAYS say yes. You never know which “yes” is the one that changes everything.
