Our next General Membership meeting is on June 9, 2026 in our club house located at 1299 S.E. Hargrave St., Arcadia at 7:00 p.m. All are invited to attend plus you will receive 1 hour of volunteer service.

Board Members our meeting is at 6:00 p.m. on June 9th.

AAFSC Members/Riders;

Tentatively there will be a speed fun show on June 13th weather permitting
Exhibition barrels starts at 8:00 am till
9:15 am. Show starts at 9:30 am. Our show will consist of 4 events, barrels, hairpin, poles and home run.
Concession will be open.

If you would like to join our club that day you may do so and compete the same day. If you would like to be a spectator we would love to have you and there is no charge. We do have bleachers but you may bring your own chairs and tents.
Dogs are to be on leashes
NO alcohol and/or drugs are permitted on our grounds.

🐴 : How Hot is TOO Hot for Your Horse? ☀️🌡️
As the summer temperatures climb, keeping our equine partners safe and cool should be our top priority.
Even just 17 minutes of gentle exercise in hot weather can push a horse's internal temperature to dangerous levels.
To keep your rides safe, always calculate the Heat Index (Temperature + Humidity) before you tack up.
🔥 Hot Tips for Heat Exhaustion
Don't underestimate the heat. Heat exhaustion can advance to dangerous heat stroke incredibly quickly.
Sweat is at its most efficient when it evaporates, but high humidity slows this process down significantly.
When to Call the Vet: If you suspect your horse is developing heat stroke, or if their body temperature refuses to drop to 101°F or lower despite your best efforts to cool them down, call your veterinarian immediately!

I want to personally thank Tina & Joe Hunter, Amy Mills, Jennifer Rodgers, and Karen Castoro for being our obstacle challenge judges . Also Doug Collins for reading the poker cards and Rebecca Meyer as his assistant.
Fun was had by all. Looking forward to our next event possibly in the fall.

🏆 WHAT A WEEKEND! 🏆
​Our recent event was an absolute, roaring success, and we are still buzzing from all the excitement!
​First and foremost, a massive THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and day of to make this happen, and to all of our amazing riders who came out, participated, and gave it their all. We couldn't do this without our amazing community! ❤️🐴

AAFSC Obstacle Challenge and Poker Run here we come.

Make sure to wear boots since the grounds are a bit sloppy and wet especially my judges. You will get dirty.

REMINDER TO ALL

AAFSC is having their Obstacle Challenge and Poker Run on Saturday, May 30th. Registration 9:00 am at the tower.
Events start at 10:00am or sooner.
$25 to enter the obstacle course and $25 to enter poker run. Or if you decide to do both total of $45. ($5.00 savings)
If you don’t have a horse you may compete in the poker run on foot.
This is open to the public
We are located at 1299 S E Hargrave St., Arcadia. Any questions you can call Lois at 863-990-8286
This will be a fun day for all and meeting new horse people.

We will have Deb’s Dine & Dash concession serving breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices so bring your appetite too.
