Cutest little flower farmer you’ll ever see 🥹💐✨

Today we harvested some of the last goodies from Griffin’s Garden—big peppers, zinnias to save for seed, and beautyberries for next season. 🌶️🌸🫐

But I think my favorite thing I harvested today was this little memory. 🥹❤️ The wiggle, the flowers, AND the kiss?! I can’t take it. 😂

🌱🌸 SPRING STARTS NOW AT GRIFFIN’S GARDEN! 🌸🌱

It may be fall outside, but I’m already thinking about SPRING! 😁

Today I’m starting the first rounds of seedlings that I’m hoping to have available at my Spring Plant & Seedling Sale! I’m taking advantage of the cooler weather to get some of my cold-hardy flowers, herbs, and perennials growing and established.

Some of the varieties going into trays and beds include:

🌸 Iceland Poppies
🌸 Peony Poppies
💜 Larkspur
🌸 Scabiosa
💙 Bachelor’s Buttons
🌼 Rudbeckia
🤍 Yarrow
🌸 Sweet Peas
🌿 Sorrel
🌸 Foxglove
🌼 Tidy Tips
🤍 Baby’s Breath (Gypsophila)

And this is only the beginning! 🌱

More varieties will be started throughout the winter and early spring, including warm-season flowers like Blue Mist Floss Flower (Ageratum).

One of my goals for Griffin’s Garden is to offer plants that I’ve actually grown here myself—from seed to seedling—and give our community more choices for beautiful gardens, cut flowers, herbs, and pollinator spaces. 🐝🦋🌿

I’ll be sharing the growing process over the next several months so you can watch these tiny seeds turn into the plants that will be available this spring.

Another successful day at the library! 🧹✨

I’m heading home feeling incredibly grateful after selling some of my dried flower skull bouquets today. 🥰

I’m so thankful for the Library’s continued support of Griffin’s Garden and other local small businesses. Having a community space that is willing to open its doors, extend a hand, and give small businesses opportunities to share what we create truly means a lot.

I hope more local makers and small businesses take advantage of opportunities like this. When our community supports one another, we all have a chance to grow. ❤️

🌼 Harvested goldenrod yesterday with Alex at Village Garden Greenhouses & Florist 💛 Lisa was kind enough to take some photos for us, and they turned out amazing!

I’m so grateful for her support. Thanks to her, I’ve been able to expand my collection of perennial shrubs and trees, and I already have plans to incorporate all this new greenery into the bouquets I’ll be creating next year. 😁

It’s exciting seeing Griffin’s Garden grow little by little! ✨
