That’s what we chose from the start of our marriage, three years ago, and continue to strive to follow to this day and forever and always!!!
Posting this today because I realized it never fully posted the other day on our actual anniversary!
Happy 3 Years Anniversary with my absolute Best Friend in Life! I love you so very much Justin Michael Bettross!!! Thank you for being my first and last kiss!!
You are my heart, my world, and you mean absolutely everything to me! There is no one else that I would rather take on this life with! I’m proud to be your wife and call you my husband! You make me beyond proud in everything you do! I love you to the moon and back a gazillion times and more!!!
Thankful, grateful, and beyond blessed to be able to share this life with you! I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in this third year, and for the rest of our lives!

This past Monday, I had the privilege of throwing my mother-in-law a Retirement Celebration for her lifelong career in parks! 💚 I had so much fun planning, coordinating, and decorating for this special event!! 🤗 We had so much fun! We had it locally catered by Baby Jo’s, (located right outside of the park) because we knew we wanted to support local and keep it within our community!! With the help of my amazing husband, we were able to bring it all together! We got a list of people together and he emailed everyone within DNR, and other hosts/volunteers, and I emailed a few special, local friends of hers, and we had a great turnout! Within her career in parks, Mrs. Brenda has taught and educated so many individuals, and has been a mentor to so many! While, I’m lucky enough to know and have her as my mother-in-law and close friend, others are lucky enough to call her a friend as well! She has left such a huge impact and impression on so many young individuals, and I admire her for that, and the beautiful heart she has for her career in parks! She definitely loved her job, and the people she worked with, that grew beyond friends and became more like family. She is one special lady and one of the best park managers I know! We are so beyond thankful for everyone, who was able to come celebrate Mrs. Brenda and her amazing career! We couldn’t have done it without the help of everyone! Also, a few things I wanted to ensure I incorporated in the celebration were dedicating and making sure it felt like a park-themed celebration!!! I even set up the tables to resemble trees, if you can imagine it haha! 🌳 Definitely a little extra, but I thought it fit perfectly with the theme! We also, wished her “Happy Trails to You!” in all of her future endeavors with a charcuterie board with trail mix shaped in the form of a trail! And a fun party favor that I thought was cute, was here’s to Happy Retire”mints”, I just knew I wanted to incorporate those few things within the theme of the celebration!

Thought this was the perfect song to play for my sweet hubby, as I was letting him open his first gift, that I was going to wait to give him on Christmas morning, but decided it fit best for our Date-anniversary (the day of our first date, five years ago) yesterday, and plus I was so excited when they got here, that I couldn’t wait to give it to him! 😍😍😍
The day I ordered these bracelets, I couldn’t wait for them to arrive! So, I decided there wasn’t a more perfect timing than to give it to him on the anniversary date of the marking of our first date, five years ago!
While, our first date was to see the Christmas lights at Lights of the South, instead I decided to have them engrave the coordinates of where we got married at because this is where our journey began together as one! 👩🏻‍🤝‍👨🏼❤️💍
These custom cuffs, I had both customized and personalized to always remind us of our big day!
I will forever and always cherish that special day with my whole heart, and now that we have the coordinates engraved on our custom cuff bracelets, we can always look down at it, and it will always serve as a reminder of our love and where we began our journey together as one.
I will forever and always treasure this gift with my whole heart and everything it means to us! ❤️

A few goals that I have set for myself this upcoming year, are learning more about various floral bouquet/centerpiece designs, photography, and invitations/wedding stationary! While, I absolutely LOVE any chance that I get to make custom centerpieces, floral bouquets, etc., however I would love even more learning experience in it!
Also, photography has always been a fun, cool experience, that I would absolutely LOVE to get into and learn more about, as well as all of the pretty custom-made wedding stationary options available!!
I believe that no dream/goal is to big to accomplish and you should always strive to reach for the stars, and what better time than to start learning these new things now?! I’m an eager learner, and would love to learn more in these different fields! So, please feel free to comment below if you have any recommendations on, or if you are a floral designer, photographer, etc. I would love to hear from y’all! I would love to learn some new skills in these fields! 💐🎀📸✨

Happy 2 Year Anniversary with this amazing man, my Best Friend, and the absolute Love of my Life! ❤️
I love you so very much Justin Michael Bettross!!! 😍 I can’t believe it has already been two years since we said I do! Time sure flies, when you are having fun! 😜 If I could do it all over again though, I would in a heartbeat! 😘 This was the absolute BEST day of my life! Thank you for standing by my side for these past two years!! 👩🏻‍🤝‍👨🏼 There is no doubt, you are my absolute best friend, my biggest fan, the number one person I can always rely on, and the greatest husband anyone could ever ask for! And for that, I’m truly thankful and beyond grateful that you are all mine! Counting my blessings daily! 🙏🏼
I prayed for you daily, and I’m so glad that I didn’t settle for anything less! I’m thankful, grateful, and beyond blessed that I get to spend the rest of my life loving you! Channeled my inner creative side this past month and put together my very own version at home styled wedding shoot from my home here at the park! ✨
I took a lot of items from our rustic-themed wedding and used them to display a rustic style setting, using our rustic farmhouse table! 💛
For this photo shoot, I used our wedding stationary: save the dates, wedding invitations, RSVP’s, rings, my wedding day jewelry/accessories, His/Her vows books, Guest Book, Photo/Memory Book, a few candid shots from our wedding day, my bouquet, as well as my toss bouquet, table centerpieces, and many other miscellaneous items! I put it all together, rearranging here and there.
I mostly did it for practice for future styled wedding shoots that I hope and would love to be a part of in the near future!
I had so much fun putting it all together! 🤗
It definitely brought back so many memories that I will cherish for a lifetime and more! ❤️
