Our hope is that our couples always feel comfortable reaching out to us for help. Your elopement day is not about us, or our portfolio, it's about you. So when Lucas and Megan messaged us the day before their Crested Butte elopement worried that the wildflowers at their planned hiking location were looking a little dull, we immediately started brainstorming alternatives.
L+M recommended a different hike that they really enjoyed, and we headed up the off-road trail in search of some colorful pockets of wildflowers. So while things looked a little bit different than originally planned, between the four of us, we were easily able to rework their elopement to include the wildflowers that they dreamed of.
We started the morning with a sunrise private vow exchange on the edge of an alpine lake. L+M were so much fun to hang out with and M was constantly on the lookout for a moose. Unfortunately we did not see any moose, but we did come across two adorable baby deer. We hiked to a waterfall, ate PB&Js at the most beautiful campsite, and even walked through an aspen grove.
After a morning of adventure, they met up with their guests at a private rental home in Crested Butte for their ceremony. Their two dogs even got to walk (okay, maybe run) down the aisle to "Who Let The Dogs Out." Sorry if that song is now stuck in your head.
P.S. As always, no wildflowers were trampled in the making of these photos.
