DJ GÖDTÌS Bio update 2025

DJ GÖDTÌS aka Tammy Beattie — a dancing DJ, sacred space holder, and soul-stirring sound alchemist. Nearly seven years ago, GÖDTÌS began DJing exclusively for ecstatic dance events, weaving tribal bass, elemental rhythms, and transformative beats into powerful journeys of embodiment and connection. What started out of necessity—through curating her own dance space, Ecstatic Movement Tribe (established in 2015)—has since evolved into a passionate career playing at festivals, kava bars, and a dozen ecstatic dances annually.

GÖDTÌS is more than just a DJ—she's a lifelong dancer, devoted to the art of contact improv for over 20 years and teaching it for over a decade. Her sets are deeply informed by movement, energy, and intention, creating a somatic journey for the body and spirit.

Originally from Canada, she now lives in Colorado with her beautiful family—two radiant children, Ion (11) and Aurora (6), and an amazing husband who supports her in living her purpose. Holding space for transformation and unity is not just her profession, but her soul’s calling. Whether she's playing at Boulder’s weekly dances or dropping sets at festivals, DJ GÖDTÌS shows up with her full heart, ready to co-create magic through music and movement.

Catch DJ GÖDTÌS at Boulder Ecstatic Dance – July 20th!

I’m beyond thrilled to announce I’ll be bringing the beats to Boulder Ecstatic Dance for the very first time on Saturday, July 20th! This has been a long time coming, and my heart is bursting with excitement.

Get ready for a journey of savage bass, tribal roots, sexy rhythms, and conscious tones of epicness — all wrapped into one ecstatic flow. Colorado, I’m so grateful to be weaving deeper into this beautiful dance community and sharing the medicine of music and movement with you all.

Welcome to Boulder’s Weekly Dance Ritual!

This is your invitation to step into a sacred space where movement, connection, and community meet. Together, we co-create a dance experience to uplift ourselves and manifest more community connections, love & joy.

🔹 Sliding Scale: $12-$33 (CASH)
🔹 Indoor & Outdoor Dance Spaces
🔹 7:00-8:00 p.m.: Movement Class – A guided, movement-based class to prepare body and soul for the dance floor. This hour focuses on grounding, breath, and connection, setting the tone for an ecstatic journey.

🔹 8:00 p.m.: Opening Circle – Align together as a community before the dance begins.
🔹 8:15-10:00 p.m.: Ecstatic Dance – Let the sound and rhythm move you as we rise and vibe together in a freeform dance experience designed to awaken your inner joy.
🔹 Comfy Corner – Relax and unwind with massage tools.
🔥 Backyard Bonfire – Connect and reflect under the stars.

Swim through waves of soulful dance, and community connection. Enjoy & explore the musical worlds of Temple Bass Nectar, EDM, Dreamtempo, World Percussion and Electronic percussion. Close your eyes, open your heart and allow yourself to be led by the rhythm.

DJ Gödtís has being playing Ecstatic dances journeys in various sanctuaries for over 6 years. Recently played at rhythm sanctuary in Denver, Ecstatic movement Tribe in Boulder, Crestone Energy Fair 2022.

She has been humbled to facilitate and cultivating Ecstatic Dance events, In and around, Boulder Colorado, crafting safe spaces for community to connect consciously.
