There’s a rhythm to life on a flower farm, and every season brings something lovely to look forward to. 🌸

We begin with flowers for Mother’s Day, then settle into the wonderful abundance of summer starting in June — fresh bouquets, weekly flower subscriptions, weekend mornings at Cheeky Doughnuts, and a grab-and-go cooler at the farm filled with whatever is looking especially beautiful in the field.

Come October, we invite you into the dahlias for a little flower picking of your own. And when the frost finally arrives, our attention turns to digging, dividing, and sharing thousands of dahlia tubers with gardeners across the country.

Of course, love and celebrations don't follow a growing season, so we're delighted to create flowers for weddings and events all year long.

Whether you're dreaming of a summer bouquet, planning a celebration, or choosing dahlias for your own garden, there's a place for you at Petal.

A bucket full of dahlias, autumn leaves overhead, and a little time together in the flowers. 💐🍂

Our u-pick is open this week, and we’ve just added more times! Tickets are still available for $20 a bucket—come gather a little of this glorious fall abundance to take home.

We may get frost Friday, so this could be our last chance to share the field this season. If the frost holds off, we’ll open more times for the weekend and next week. Until then, grab one of the spots available now!

U-Pick is Happening!
Come pick dahlias before the frost! ✂️🌸 Reservations are available TODAY at 4pm and 5pm, with more times available this week.

Spend a private hour in our dahlia field with your friends, family—or just yourself—and fill a one-gallon bucket with autumn beauty. Flowers are $20 per bucket. Your $20 online reservation counts toward your bucket total, and you can pay for additional buckets at the farm before picking.

We provide buckets and snips, so you can simply arrive and enjoy. Children are welcome with adult supervision, and photography is encouraged! No pets or restrooms; closed-toe shoes recommended. Bringing home several buckets? Boxes can help keep them steady in your car.

Make one reservation for your whole group. Reservation payments are non-refundable for cancellations or no-shows.

This bride gave us a gorgeous palette to play with and trusted us to turn her inspiration into something beautiful. What a pleasure that is: a little creative freedom, an armful of extraordinary flowers, and the joy of seeing it all come together. We had so much fun with these.

Introducing Jam’s Bonneted Baby! 💛🌸

Lemony petals surround a sweet collar of blush petaloids on this charming collarette dahlia.

After years of field evaluation here at Petal, a Flower Farm, Jam’s Bonneted Baby joins our 2026 releases. Plants reach approximately 6 feet tall, with green stems and foliage. Its seed parent is a Floret seedling.

“Jam’s” is the prefix for varieties hybridized here on our farm—and this little beauty has earned its place!

Jam’s Bonneted Baby will be available in limited quantities when our tuber sales begin in November.

Pink upon pink, deep burgundy, and little touches of peach. Dahlias with the most extravagant petals, ruffled roses, and all those lovely details that make you look a little longer. This wedding was such a pleasure to create. 💗
