We are a small urban flower farm in the heart of the Fox Cities in WI. We love it when we get to use our flowers to design your wedding day! Hi! And then bonus!

With over ten years of experience, we are looking forward to bringing our passion to serve you! I'm Shanna and I have been an event florist for over ten years! I currently own a small urban flower farm and there is nothing that makes me prouder and more fulfilled than growing flowers! I get to use those beauties in the weddings I design for YOU! It’s difficult to know what floral design will cost for your wedding. To assist you with a better understanding of floral professionals and wedding designs I discuss in this video a recent full floral ceremony arch we created.

This discussion was prompted by my curiosity as to how others perceive the value of floral design, especially for weddings. I ran a recent survey on my Instagram stories and there was a range of understanding of cost. The options were under $2,000, between $3-4,000 and at least $5,000.

Most popularly selected was the $3-4,000 range as well as quite a few people choosing at least $5,000.

Please keep in mind that flowers can completely encompass your overall wedding styling and vibe as a couple. And they should be prioritized because of what they bring to your wedding day. They are a joy and a luxury enhancement of your event. They deserve all the love along with their creative professionals bringing them to you in unimaginably beautiful ways!

I haven’t shared on here in a bit. But I’m heading into designing my first wedding of 2026 and it’s a looker! It reminds me of Sydney’s bouquet from last year. A spring wedding with colorful floral!

Matt & Sara’s wedding was bold and classy. I was thrilled they wanted to embrace red in their floral styling! I think it is under appreciated but luckily there seems to be a trend towards this color in the industry. We made miracles by flipping hanging floral on the arch into this jaw dropping statement piece on the kings table. It translated so beautifully in this historic space.

This warm mid-August day was summer wedding perfection. The bride coordinated every detail meticulously. The breathtaking outdoor backdrop at gave us permission to create an organic and flowy ground garden piece for the ceremony. Something that would make a statement without taking away from the natural beauty of the surroundings. As we do with many couples, this piece was repurposed to several locations in the reception afterwards to make the most of the floral investment and enjoyment. The scene could not be completed without trendy umbrella baskets and modern containers filled with coordinating gorgeous floral.

I know the year isn’t over but WOW has 2025 been a whirlwind of blessings, hard work, rewarding challenges, surprises, some losses and the occasional hardship. I only have one more wedding to design this year so the main focus is recovery from a broken ankle and guiding my team through closing down the flower farm for the season. Just two weeks after breaking my ankle at a wedding set up I had to say goodbye to my sweetest baby girl. It’s enough to knock me down and then some. But my ankle fracture required no surgery, just some patience and time. And when I knew our little miss puppy girl of almost twelve years was going to cross the rainbow bridge I decided I couldn’t let that get me down. I wanted to honor her by focusing on my gratitude that she hung on with me for one more sweet summer and all of the things she taught me all these years. I will miss her smiling face poking out of the flower beds the most. And the way she sat near me while I worked or trampled my plants and stole cucumbers. It feels like the closing of a huge chapter in my life and there is an empty space where she once was. My husband and I will miss Opha Mae forever. She was our baby girl. But thankfully we have her fur siblings to pour our love into. I feel broken hearted but also inspired and like I have somehow gained her zest for life and stubborn will. 2025 has been one for the book I may write someday. Theme: attaining happiness and incredible growth through adversity.

I’m horrible about posting on here but you can blame these little beauties 😉 I have been immensely distracted with my growing season. And since it is so short lived I’m taking in every moment and bloom I can. The dahlias are my favorite but did you know they only typically bloom for about two months!? Sometimes less than that if the weather is struggling. If you LOVE dahlias and want them in your wedding designs you should aim for an august or September wedding in Wisconsin. October gets tricky!
