Happy New Year!

Youth in Music is excited to invite you to our 2026 Championships at US Bank Stadium in MPLS on Saturday October 10, 2026. This is our 22nd Annual Event. Please register early as we anticipate a large demand. We will start a waiting list when all performance slots are allotted.

Registration will open on Wednesday January 7 at 7am. Placement for performance times into Session I is based on a point system including: timestamp within your classification, years of attendance at the event, classification, and previous years class champions go on last in that class.

We will work with you and your group for appropriate classification. More information in registration form.

MPA is opening up the instructor session with Forte Athletics (Daniel Recoder, https://www.forteathletics.net/about-forte-athletics) to non-MPA instructors for free.

This will be 1–2 p.m. January 3 at Rosemount High School. The session will take place in the dance studio in the basement.

After entering the set of doors closest to the construction at the high school, walk straight all the way through the auditorium lobby, then take a right at the hallway and take the stairs to the basement. The dance studio will be right there.

Band directors from three Range high schools are preparing to perform in the 2026 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day in Pasadena, California.
