Today we honor the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest serving monarch in British history, known for her devotion and life of extraordinary service.

Marjorie Post admired the Queen as a strong woman, influential leader, and member of the monarchy, attending her coronation festivities in London in 1952 and collecting objects featuring her image and related to her reign.

Within Hillwood’s collection is this color print of a portrait of Princess Elizabeth, created in 1952 by Douglas Chandor before she became queen.
