Well, friends, the time has come. Sunday, March 3rd, will be my last day taking bridal appointments. Beautiful & Borrowed Bridal is permanently closing.
*I still have a ton of inventory and will be taking appointments until 3/3! February is already almost fully booked. I have put more thought, time, and energy into this decision than I care to even try to calculate. While most friends, family, and business professionals I have confided in don't want me to close, everyone has been so supportive and understanding.
As some of you know, I work full time on top of running the bridal shop, and unlike most people who start a business in hopes of leaving the '9-5 life', I never really had that desire.
For the past 2.5 years, I have worked 28-30 days every month between juggling my career and my business. I am watching my daughter's life fly by while I am working, and that is not the type of mom I want her to remember me as. As much as I love meeting so many beautiful brides and other vendors, I have to prioritize my family.
I do not consider this a failure, I actually feel very at peace with my journey. I am beyond grateful and honored to have been supported by so many brides, businesses, friends, and family. You all kept me going daily.
