We’re so honored to share that Peony Event Planning was named a finalist for Wisconsin Brides Best of 2026 for Best Wedding Planner! While we didn’t take home the win, being recognized alongside so many talented professionals is truly such an honor. A huge congratulations to everyone who was nominated and to all of this year’s winners!

It’s especially meaningful because we are still a newer company, currently in our third wedding season. With over 50 weddings completed and 30 more already booked, I’m constantly reminded how lucky I am to do what I love every single day. Being trusted to play a role in one of the happiest and most important days in someone’s life is something I never take for granted.

This past year has brought plenty of highs and lows. Navigating personal challenges, growing a business, building a team, and prioritizing my health, but I wouldn’t change any of it. Am I still learning? Absolutely. I’m far from perfect, but I’m committed to continuing to grow as a business owner, teammate, friend, sister, wife, and person overall.

Most importantly, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to my friends, family, vendor community, and everyone who has supported me since this business was just an idea. Thank you to every couple who trusted a girl with a dream to be part of their wedding day. And thank you to all of the incredible “friendors” I’ve met along the way. This industry is filled with some truly amazing people, and I’m so grateful to be part of it.

The moments before you walk down the aisle… there’s so much building up to it. The nerves, the excitement, the tears, the laughter… all of it at once.

Right before the music really starts, before you see your person waiting at the end of the aisle… sometimes that’s when it all hits you and at Jake & Molly’s wedding, that’s exactly what happened.

The music was playing, the bridal party was already walking, and then it was her turn. The doors open, the music shifts and all of a sudden, it hits. I’m about to marry my best friend.

It wasn’t sadness. It was that overwhelming happiness you’ve been waiting for… finally happening right in front of you.

I remember already recording and pausing for a second, wondering if I should stop—but it was such a real, raw moment. (What you don’t see is me crying behind the camera… and honestly, I’m crying again writing this because it was just that beautiful.)

The photos say everything to me. Your parents standing by your side, ready to watch their child marry the love of their life.
This is a moment I’ll never forget. Easily one of my favorite memories.
Moments like this are why I love what I do. How amazing is it to say that my job is to be a part of someone’s happiest day of their life 🤍 and YES, I did ask the bride if I could post this since it’s a more intimate moment!

The Chicago Cultural Center has been my bride’s dream since she was a little girl—and now, in just a couple of months, it’s finally happening 🤍

Today, we had the chance to walk the space together with her florist and really soak in what the wedding day will feel like. Getting to experience it in person, envisioning every detail come to life, made it all feel so real.

The beauty of this venue is truly unmatched. Home to the world’s largest Tiffany stained glass dome, it adds such a breathtaking, timeless elegance that elevates the entire day in the most magical way.

And the location? You can’t beat it. Sitting right across from Millennium Park, your guests will have endless things to explore and enjoy all weekend long.

It’s going to be one of those weddings you just feel—romantic, iconic, and completely unforgettable ✨

It’s truly incredible that friends, family and vendors voted for us in the first round and had to physically put our name in, literally brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.
