Taking care of yourself. I know sometimes it feels selfish. But sometimes it is just your body feeling uncomfortable with doing something different. And that’s okay. Even framing it differently like instead of “me first,” helps you see the healthy boundary perspective. Like “me too.”

Nothing like a peaceful day in the sun. I don’t think a lot of us do this often because we are running so fast throughout the week that all we do is veg out on the couch and watch tv during the weekends. But I want to invite you into the possibility that this could be a daily moment where we simply rest in the sun.

Knowing about Self-care is so important… I don’t think a lot of us were raised up knowing what Self-care really meant, really felt like. We used Self-care like a reward system. Like a staggered moment to indulge. And then feel guilty sometimes afterwards. Self-care is looked at as optional and only when there is no strict deadlines that need to be done and finished first. But these definitions and limitations of Self-care isn’t true. There is so much more here.
