A little Jmac schedule update as we wrap up August. 🍂

First — can we give Beth & the girls some love for this amazing fall window?! 😍 She worked her magic and officially has us and goosy ready for all the cozy fall things.

A few important schedule updates while we’re here:

🍂 We’ll continue our August hours through Labor Day weekend. Historically, this is a pretty quiet weekend for us, so we’re going to soak up a little extra time before fall gets rolling.

Saturday, Aug. 29 (today) - CLOSED for previously scheduled reduced August hours for recovery.

Wednesday, Sept. 2 — CLOSED for team professional development! We’re taking the day to learn, grow and bring some new ideas back to Jmac.

Monday, Sept. 7 — CLOSED for Labor Day

Need a delivery Wednesday? Order ahead! Even though the storefront will be closed, we’ll find a way to honor pre-ordered deliveries. 💐

A little Friday afternoon flower dump. 💐

Just a few of our favorites that left the shop this week — each a different color palette for a different purpose.

Soft + romantic. Bright + happy. Dark + elegant. A little wild and garden-y.

Different flowers for different people, different moments and different stories. That might be our favorite part of what we get to do.

Maybe it’s the being home and in recovery. Or maybe it’s thinking about all the people around us who are recovering from struggles of their own.

But lately I’ve been reminded how much a simple gesture can mean.

A little “thinking of you.”
A little comfort.
Something sweet.
Something cozy.
Something that says you’re cared for without needing a whole lot of words.

Flowers will always be our first love, but sometimes care looks like cozy grippy socks, chocolate and a little something just for you, too. 🤎

Favorite color combo of the day. 🍑🧡

Peach, apricot, rust, burnt orange, terracotta, with just a little dusty blue and fresh white tucked in.

Garden roses, spray roses, mums, stock and thistle — all different flowers, different textures, and even different tones. But somehow they melt together into this almost monochromatic palette.

Proof that monochromatic doesn’t have to mean one color. Sometimes it’s all the shades that live around it. And I’m loving this one. 😍

Today was one of those days. 😅

Our standing flower order yesterday showed up missing… well, basically all of our essentials. The rest was supposed to arrive today, but somehow missed getting picked up from the wholesaler.

And did I mention today was my first full day back at the shop for “light work”? I had a mid-day nap planned. 😂

Anyway, it was a hard day. But somehow, still a really fun one.

We worked hard. We made mistakes. We improvised. We straight up cackled. We leaned on our team — and the people who love us — to help find solutions when our brains and bodies weren’t quite keeping up.

And at the end of the day, we’re beat… but so incredibly grateful that this is what we get to do.

Because even with missing flowers, changed plans and a few wires not fully connecting, some really beautiful things left this little flower shop today. I only wish we got pictures of them all.❤️

Thank you for choosing Jmac for the hard days. The big days. The happy days. And even the days when we’re showing our human.

We really, really love getting to be a small part of your day.

As we prepare for another week of school, if your morning hair routine could use a little help…our Kitsch shelf got a whole lot fuller!

We added more liquid shampoos and conditioners, curl cream, treatment masks and styling sprays. (Can we get a little volume up here? 💁🏼‍♀️)

Our wraps can be customized with flowers + little extras from the shop — because sometimes the random add-ons are the very best part.

After a nap this afternoon, I felt a little pull to head to the flower shop and help process the big flower order that came in this morning.

Turns out, Beth and Emilee had already handled it all like the rockstars they are.

So… I did what any girl who has been away from her flowers for too long would do. I grabbed a few vases and dusted off a little creativity with some of the more unique stems we have in right now.

A girl can only color flowers for so long. And can we talk about some of these stems?! Blooming grevillea, safflower, fall waxflower + those gorgeous ivory roses that came in today.

And it felt really good to design again.

Anyway — this massive beauty is now hanging out in the cooler and ready to make a pretty big impression on someone this weekend. 🤍
