It’s a crazy couple weeks ahead. State Fair, Back to School, and Labor Day just to name a few.

Here are a few adjustments to our hours coming up.

9-10 a.m. and 2-4 p.m.

Monday, August 25th
9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Tuesday, August 26th
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Closed

Thursday, August 28th

BIG NEWS! Toni’s Flowers will soon be Heavy Petal Floral.

Many of you know the story of how I came to Toni’s Flowers. It was a sign too strong to ignore and listening to God was the scariest but most amazing thing I could do.

He’s been dropping hints over the last couple years, but I’ve brushed Him off thinking I know better. (Anyone else guilty of this?) I also, if I’m being honest, was afraid of what everyone would think.

I’ve recently created a lot more space in my life to tune into His word, and it’s so clear that it’s time for this change. The signs just keep getting bigger and louder and clearer.

In the coming weeks, you’ll see new signage and branding, an updated shop layout, and a revamped design menu and website. You may hear some new shop tunes when you visit, and you’ll most certainly feel the buzz of excitement Shelly and I feel right now.

The shop itself, the roots and history, aren’t going anywhere. It will always have the same heart it does today and that it did when Toni and Harold started it in 1951. If anything, that only grows with time. This change is going to add a fresh edge and new energy. Something we all need every once in a while.

We are so excited to step into this new chapter and crank up the volume on all we have to offer this amazing community.

Happy August! When the colors of fall slowly begin to sneak their way into our flower cooler and designs and we prepare for “back to school.”

If you feel a tightening in your chest as you read that, fear not. You’re not alone, and I want to remind you that there is still a LOT of summer to soak up.

Take this month to truly savor and enjoy! Whatever that is for you.

Slow mornings with your littles, a walk in the sunshine, your favorite beverage, fresh flowers on your table (sorry, shameless plug felt necessary 😂), whatever it is for you…do it!

We’ll be closed for the rest of the day for building maintenance. They say when life gives you lemons to make lemonade. The water is shut off to the building though…😂 So maybe lemon bars?

Celebrating Becky & Nate with the sweetest backyard wedding today!

As I pulled out of their driveway and began to drive away, I was met with a wave of joy and gratitude. What might seem insignificant, putting some pretty flowers together for a wedding, is soooo much more than that.

Being invited into someone’s home, being asked to participate in one of the most special moments of their lives, being trusted to bring a vision to life for their big day…it’s just the coolest, most amazing thing.

I’m still beaming for these two and their families.

Man, I love love.
