My favorite thing about being a wedding planner?

I am surrounded by people who are genuinely at their happiest. For most people this is the happiest moment of their life to date and it's infectious! Happiness breeds happiness and doing what I do brings me all the joy and feels.

You do NOT have to go insane on decor and florals to have a classy wedding!

Sometimes dainty and airy is the vibe! So, you do that with your centerpieces and let the showstopper of a ceiling install be the big bang for your guests! This was dozens of disco balls, string lights and greenery over the massive dancefloor. *Chefs kiss*

Happy Saturday!

Let's talk about the sugar! (Not the kisses - the cake!)

Recommendation : Most people waste a LOT of their cake when that is the dessert they are serving. I would opt for bite sized sweets instead with assorted treats. your guests at this point are likely dancing and we don't want anything with a utensil. Keep it easy so they can grab it quickly and head back to the dance floor!

Pro Tip: Cake cutting doesn't need to be an overdone thing. Get your photographer while everyone is finishing up dinner and quickly capture that moment without announcing it. Why dinner? because it is before layers start getting removed and sweat starts dripping.

Ahh, the infamous dip kiss.

Pro Tip: Practice this over and over again throughout your planning process. At home, outside, in the grocery store, wherever you feel it and try not to over think it. Have fun!

Talk about Glam and party! Jillian and Brandon were such a dream to plan with, they had to reschedule after their initial 2020 plans, AND their wedding venue completely stopped doing weddings! They stayed calm through all the rebooking and their wedding day was one of the best parties we've seen in a while! This dance floor did not disappoint and their decade of love shone through. ✨ ❤️

Talk about making an entrance! Celeste and Russell rode into their first dance on a tandem bike - this was an homage to a long bicycle trek earlier in their relationship, and truly a fun way to start the party! We LOVE personal touches like these that we get to help come to life. 🚲 💗
