Whether you’re hosting a dinner party, wedding, or social gathering, using a centerpiece is a great way to add instant sophistication, glamour, elegance, and style to any table.

Flowers and vases are the most common centerpieces. For this tablescape, pink, white, and toffee roses were used to create a romantic setting. The large floral centerpiece was placed on a glass trumpet vase flanked by smaller arrangements in gold pedestal vases. A few rose accents were incorporated as well. Mixing high and low arrangements is a great way to add dimension.

When life gives you lemons & ginger, make lemonade. After not being able find ginger for almost a week, I’m just thankful I was able to find some. What is everyone doing with all the ginger! Anyways, ginger lemonade on deck. Now that I’ve made actually lemonade, I’m going to make figurative lemonade by using my time wisely to get through some training I’ve purchased.

This year, one of my goals was to help more people plan for vacations. Almost half of American workers don’t plan for them, and you know what happens when you don’t have a plan. I figured if I could secure $100K in travel plans, I’d be doing my small part to bring some happiness to the world. You did know that travelers are happier people, right? At the time, it seemed like a pretty lofty goal but I was willing to try. Two months into the year, I’m almost 35% closer to reaching that goal.
