Any Portland, OR friends following here? Our founding DJ Dustin (AKA Golden Feelings, not on Insta himself) will be out there in just under two weeks and has two different DJ gigs for your listening pleasure.

On Friday, July 25, he'll be going a PNW-centric version of HOJL called DATE WITH THE NIGHT at ! Lots of dancefloor-friendly favorites from when we millennials were just at our quarter-life crisis, so chop some symmetry out of that hair, wiggle into your tightest skinny jeans, and hit the floor. Don't strain yourself!

On Sunday, July 27, come out to for brunch and some mellow soul and jazz moods, all on wax! Nothing cures a hangover like some George Benson, and believe us, that medicine cabinet will be well-stocked.

A reminder that the entire crew has a hand in this week's ! is DJing opening night on Thursday, Dustin is DJing Friday (and is also the marketing director), has programmed an incredible set of horror shorts on Friday night (and tickets are going fast, so get on it!; also she is a festival co-director), and .rella.ruta is the volunteer coordinator!

We planned to do a tax season party last year but it didn't pan out. This year, the idea of paying in to the federal government is rightfully at a popular low, but it's still better than the other thing that we're guaranteed in this life. MEW YEAR’S EVE can’t come soon enough! All of the crew are proud (or for you Hillbilly Elegists out there). The beautiful creature you see here is Steve R. Bini, who cohabitates with our own Dustin (DJ Golden Feelings) and Micah (who makes the video collages we project at events).
