Hope can change the course of a life 🏠
Julie entered our shelter at just 19 years old after experiencing housing instability. Determined to create a better future for herself and her daughter, she earned her GED, found employment and with support from Emmaus' HomeBASE program, secured a place to call home.
Today, she works full time as an administrative assistant while taking two online college courses each semester to earn her associate's degree in Business Management. Her greatest goal is to provide a safe, stable and healthy life for her daughter.
Her story is a powerful reminder that with the right support, determination can lead to lasting stability. Through HomeBASE, families receive the resources they need to move beyond crisis and build brighter futures.
