Seven years ago, Sarah Grace and Josiah met on a high school mission trip—an encounter that would quietly spark a beautiful love story. Just three months later, they began dating, and their journey together has only deepened with time. Josiah proposed at a scenic overlook near Table Rock, Sarah Grace’s favorite hiking spot—making the moment as breathtaking as their love. Today, surrounded by their closest family and friends, they say “I do” beneath the oaks, beginning a new chapter as husband and wife.

Seven years ago, I stepped into a dream—becoming the Manager of The Oaks Wedding Venue. Since then, I’ve had the joy and honor of witnessing love stories unfold beneath our trees and cafe lights. It’s been a blessing to help so many couples begin their forever right here at The Oaks, where every “I do” feels like a fairytale come to life.

Emma and William’s story began on the second day of their freshman year at Anderson University. At first, they were simply classmates, but something quietly special began to grow between them—especially during their time in Spanish class, where shared laughter and easy conversation revealed how much they truly had in common.

That spring, their friendship blossomed into something more, and they began going on dates, each one drawing them closer. As the months passed, it became beautifully clear that God was gently guiding their hearts toward one another. Through perfectly timed moments and quiet confirmations, He gave them the courage to trust His plan and the grace to fall in love.

In November 2023, they officially began dating, already knowing that what they had was something rare and real. And today, surrounded by those they love, Emma and William celebrate their wedding reception at The Oaks Wedding Venue in Anderson, SC—grateful for the story God has written and excited for every chapter still to come.

Howard and Sonia’s story began in the pews of the same church, where his mother once taught Sonia in Sunday School. Their lives often brushed against each other’s, but it wasn’t until Howard’s senior year of high school—just before he left for the Navy—that he truly saw her. Sonia was just starting ninth grade. Young love blossomed, but time and distance pulled them apart.

Years passed. Then, in 2020, after Sonia faced the heartbreaking loss of her spouse, fate brought Howard back into her life. With quiet persistence and a heart full of hope, he reawakened a love that had been waiting patiently in the wings. On October 6, 2023, he proposed—after a week of dropping hints and encouraging her to pick just the right dinner spot.

And now, just like the song says, “At last…” — today, they say “I do” at The Oaks Wedding Venue in Anderson, SC. A love that waited is finally home. 💍❤️

From shy smiles in middle school to a love that has stood the test of time, Xavier and Caitlyn’s journey began in 8th grade and blossomed through the years. Their hearts grew closer with each season, and today — Sunday, May 18th — on their 7th anniversary, they are saying “I do,” knowing deep in their souls that God brought them together.
Surrounded by those they love most, they will begin their Happily Ever After here at The Oaks Wedding Venue — a celebration of a love story written by God.

Love, faith, and new beginnings!
Heather and Taylor’s journey is a beautiful testament to the power of second chances. After years of life’s ups and downs, they found their way to each other—proof that God’s timing is always just right. With each bringing three wonderful kids into the fold, their blended family of eight is giving us all the modern-day Brady Bunch feels!
They got engaged this past New Year and are tying the knot this Easter weekend, surrounded by their closest loved ones. Here’s to love that endures, families that come together, and the joy of fresh starts.

Both had been single for a while and had nearly given up on dating—until a serendipitous meeting at the lake changed everything. From that first spark, their love blossomed effortlessly. Russell proposed in February, and now they are excited to begin their forever together.

Zach and Kayla met on a cruise in April 2022, and by the end of the week-long trip, they were already in love. Despite living 800 miles apart, Zach was determined to make their relationship work, even when Kayla had doubts about the challenges of long distance. Thus began an eight-month journey filled with flights, FaceTime dates, and unwavering commitment.

In January 2023, Zach took a leap of faith, moving his entire life to South Carolina to be with Kayla. Their love story reached a new milestone on July 30, 2023, when they got engaged.

Today, they celebrate the beginning of their next chapter as husband and wife at The Oaks Wedding Venue.
