Goooooood mornin’!! It’s a sunny summer day and a beautiful one to grab a one-of-a-kind farm fresh bouquet! Wrapped bouquets are $20, small jar bouquets are $10, and large jar bouquets are $15. Cash and Venmo are accepted. We’re located at 4707 N. 200 E., Anderson.

It’s a rainy Friday, but a perfect one for making bouquets for tomorrow’s flower stand! Or join us this evening at Yorktown Farm & Artisan Market in beautiful Morrow’s Meadow Park from 4:30 to 7:30pm! I’ve decided to have the bouquet bar on the opposite weekends of the farmer’s market, so let’s plan on next weekend for that!

It’s not quite the middle of summer, but it’s the middle of July. I hope you are savoring summer— the sunrises and sunsets, campfires and cookouts, songs and stories with friends and family, farmers markets and fireworks, lightning bugs and the sounds of tree frogs, crickets, and bullfrogs, the smell of fresh cut grass, summer rain, and a fresh cut bouquet, a bike ride, a nap in the hammock, a good book on a rainy day, the colors of a beautiful rainbow after a heavy rain, slow mornings on the front porch with a fresh cup of coffee. Summer is here for a little while and I hope you are fully present in it.

Sometimes we need the rain…

Not just for the garden, the flowers and vegetables. We need the rain too, to nourish our souls, to cause us to stop and reflect on our lives. This past week I did funeral arrangements for three families. This sort of thing will cause you to pause and reflect… reflect on what’s really important in life. Sure, I love pouring ito this community through flowers. But sometimes we need a rest, mentally and physically. So this evening is one for sitting on the front porch with family watching it rain, talking and enjoying each other’s company. Mother Teresa said, “If you want to change the world go home and love your family.” I think of this often. It’s what’s important. I hope you enjoy your flowers, but more importantly, I hope you enjoy time with family. The flower stand will be closed for the remainder of the evening, but will reopen next Saturday from 9am to 9pm and hopefully the bouquet bar from 2pm to 6pm. The air conditioning went out in the potting shed a few days ago and we’re waiting on the warranty department to get back with us. As always, thank you all for coming out today! I hope your flowers bring you joy throughout the coming week.

Goooood mornin’ flower friends!!! Your farm-fresh lily, zinnia, and sweet William bouquets are waiting for you roadside! Vase and jar bouquets are all $20 each. Cash and Venmo are accepted. We’re located at 4707 N. 200 E., Anderson. We’re open til 2pm today, restocking as needed. We may open later this evening but will update you if we do.
