We’re super stoked to join our friends at HINES BBQ for their pop-up event in Great Bend, Kansas! They’re using their brand-new 1000-gallon pit, and we can’t wait to help them out.

I met Rassan Hines 2 years ago after I shared a post about vac sealing and sous vide finishing briskets. He reached out to me to chat about the topic, and guess what? He was also starting a BBQ company at the same time. We became ‘BBQ pen pals’ and kept in touch. Last year, I had the chance to meet him on my way back home from picking up our food trailer. It was a quick meetup, but it was great to meet in person.

I’m thrilled to be able to help HINES BBQ out and spend some quality time with someone who’s become a great friend. If you know anyone in the Kansas area, please share this post with them and send them our way in Great Bend! We’d love to meet them!
