A dreamy elopement captured in the incredible scenery of Southeast Alaska 🌊✨ After facing their fair share of bumps in the road and multiple rescheduled plans due to a hurricane, they found themselves celebrating on a magical afternoon, surrounded by the stunning beauty of Sitka’s beaches and hidden spots. It was such a joy spending the day with these two!

I shared this photo with our dear Meg at (the flower farmer behind many of the blooms in our bouquets), and she said “they just don’t look like they are faking it at all.”

Well said- these two wonderful humans showed up for each other and their family on this gorgeous fall day with their whole selves. Definitely not faking it.

J&M made their way from Australia all the way to Alaska for their elopement. They got ready in a cozy cabin, took a walk by the river, flew out to a glacier to exchange vows, and even took the time to honor Jaime’s grandfather with a separate helicopter landing by a lake - a touching moment that will be remembered forever ❤️. After landing back in town, they spontaneously decided to head to the brewery to read letters written from family and enjoy a picnic. They signed their marriage license over local beers and then continued their celebration.

We’re so inspired by couples like J&M who are willing to go the extra mile to make their wedding day unique and just right for them. We believe that every couple deserves a wedding that reflects their personalities and their love story, and we’re here to help make that happen!

Elopements are an intimate way to celebrate love, and it’s always wonderful when our couples find a
way to include family and friends. During their elopement, L+S settled in at the edge of a lake and read a book that was filled with heartfelt messages. Imagine the joy of flipping through a book filled with messages from family members who couldn’t physically be there to witness your union. It’s a beautiful reminder of their love and support for you and your partner. This simple yet meaningful idea is proof that elopements can be just as meaningful as traditional weddings. 🤍
