We have some important news to share.

First, we want to thank you all for your amazing support over the last two years.

When we moved from our kiosk into the commercial space in The Midtown Mall, we did so with what you might call optimistic naiveté. The challenges we’ve faced and, more importantly, the successes we’ve experienced running our hybrid candy shop and boba café have been rewarding and a meaningful part of our personal and professional growth.

We’ve been blessed to run this shop successfully up until now, but it’s clear to us that it’s time to act rather than wait for things to become unsustainable.

We’ve decided the best path forward is to step back and return to where we started, by attending local craft shows and maybe even going back to a kiosk. Closing this location is a tough decision, but as a family we believe this is the right move.

We want to focus on what made our work special in the first place, which is handmade specialty foods and locally made sweets.

This week will be our last week of normal operation. We’ll do our best to keep menu items available but once they’re gone, we may not be able to restock.

We will continue to be active on Facebook which will be the best place to find updates and future plans, whether that means a new location, pop ups, or which weekend craft show we'll be at.

The phrase “Flexibility is the Key to Airpower” is just as true now as it was when we were in the Air Force. It’s time for us to embrace change again, just like we did when we moved into this space.

Thank you all for giving us a shot. We’re hoping this change eventually brings us back to the glory days of Chocolate Bomb and Dubai Chocolate Bar level of demand. 😄
