Summer is loading..

A few weeks ago and I started the backpacking season off with a trek up Lions head. It was so refreshing sleeping on the ground.. fist fighting bears for our meals.. it really felt like the kickoff to summer adventures. 🤙🏼

A mountain hut in a lapse of time.✨

Alaska's most epic adventure spot 💯

Knik Glacier is an absolute must-visit, whether you're a local or just passing through. The rugged landscape feels like the Wild West, with helicopters and planes instead of cowboys, and the scenery is simply breathtaking. 10/10 recommend it!

📢 We interrupt this winter program to show you some mountain scenes.

The Gunsight Traverse is Alaska’s version of Peru’s Rainbow Mountains. It’s truly a special sight to be had, but with caution. There are definitely some parts of this hike that are not for the faint of heart, so if you plan on going on this please do it with someone who’s been on it before.

But it’s magical. The end.👋🏻

Shades of winter.

It’s hard for me to express myself in writing about the mixed feelings I have about winter. It’s beautiful and harsh at the same time, and I can’t help but to relate to it as an analogy to life lately.

If you look for something negative you will undoubtedly find it, but the positives that are present always outweigh the negatives. (In my opinion) So just like how I don’t like winter compared to summer, you need to just make the most of it and embrace it. 💪🏼 Cause life is great.
