We have been quiet this year as I’ve been focused on starting a family. Im so happy and proud to announce that we are expecting our own little turnip in winter of 2024! 🐣 Still taking on partial service clients for 2024 starting in May. Sold out in 2024 for full service planning.

12.10.22 This wedding was so bitter-sweet for me. It was my last wedding in Portland and in 2022! Such a beautiful end-cap to an amazing career in Portland and the most insane year of my life. Excited for what is next in Alaska! Recel and Austin made the day so amazing with their love! I could not imagine a better couple to send into a most exciting new chapter of life as I close one of mine. These two were so kind to each other. They knew what they wanted and were open to ideas for everything else, which made my job so easy! They are genuinely good people and I know that matters more than anything, but look at how GORGEOUS they are! I am in love with these photos from Yasmin who captured their personality and the essence of their day so perfectly.

My husband and I are relocating! He was offered his dream job and we can’t wait to see what kinds of adventures are ahead of us in Anchorage. Turnip Events is now taking on weddings in Anchorage and surrounding areas for 2023. It’s with a heavy heart that I leave a community that has uplifted me so much in the past 7 years to the point that I felt confident to start my own business. It will be hard without you, but I am looking forward to a new event community.

Finishing the year in Portland strong with 7 more weddings through the end of the year. Can’t wait to get my couples down the aisle having the best day EVER!

Big appreciation for the vendors, planners, and couple that have made my time in Portland so special. 🥂

Proud to be a Latina! Celebrating the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month by taking my husband Salsa dancing tonight… and tomorrow too! Porque no?
For our wedding, we had some professional help with putting together a special Bachata first dance. It was epic! 🇲🇽
