For all of you who have expressed disappointment about this (and there has been an unexpectedly large number of you considering how few alcoholic beverages we have been serving) know that this is very much a "vote with your dollars" kind of a situation. Minds could be changed. We don't even need to make a profit on the alcohol sales, we just need it to pay for itself, or at least come really close to doing so. It's ultimately up to you all, but you've gotta "rock the vote" so to speak

As of the end of the year we will be voluntarily surrendering our liquor license here at Alaska Axe. If you want to experience indoor axe throwing while having a few beers in Fairbanks the last day will be New Year's Eve 2025

I'm going to try this 1 more time after talking to 3 different blacksmiths that started out gung ho only to later ghost me. We're looking for someone with some skills that would like to make custom made throwables & sell them out of a facility that sees 150-200 people a month (on average) coming through, many of whom are looking to purchase throwing axes, tomahawks, knives and novelty throwers
Anyone in or near Fairbanks?
