🫖Our afternoon tea party for 40 guests! 🫖 Very demure. Very mindful. 😜

We pulled out all our matching tea sets for this one and used every 3-tier stand we had. The main theme of the tablescape was pink and blue. 🩷💙🩷💙

With all our tea sets, we really should host more tea parties! 🍵📆🎊

I still have these lovely Japanese cherry blossom blue ceramic plates 🌸🌸🌸 I found at Tokyo Central. I saw their patterns and just had to add them to my plate collection. Our usual natural wood 🪵 name tags contrasts SO well with the blue plates 💙 🍽️

I have to do an inventory check but I believe we have a set of 8 of them. Let me know if you'd like them for your picnic set up!

1️⃣ Make it a potluck. It's fun to cook and try different cuisines. If you have friends who love to cook, its exciting to taste their new signature dishes! 👩‍🍳🍳🔪👨‍🍳
2️⃣ Mix drinks. Come up with a mixed drink with a special name that matches the theme of your event, and teach everyone how to make it! Playing the mixologist is always fun and delicious. 🍹🍸🧉
3️⃣ Play board games or video games together! There's so many fun interactive games, whether they're quick 5 minute ones or long in depth ones. Have a variety to see what your friends are feeling. 🎲🃏🀄🎱🎮
4️⃣ Do a movie night after dinner! Whether you are outside with a projector or cozy inside, it's always fun to watch a movie together. 📽️🎬🍿🎞️
5️⃣ Volunteer together! It feels great to give back, especially when you're doing it with a group of friends. Consider food banks, kitchens, or other organizations that might not traditionally be associated with the holiday, such as animal shelters or nursing homes! 🐕🐾🐕‍🦺👩‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️🍳🔪

🪦 Remembering and Respecting 🪦

The cemetery is a place for families and friends to reflect on the lives of the deceased and the personal impact the deceased made upon their own life. Visiting the grave site is done with respect and honor, demonstrating a respectful, peaceful spirit.

Yes, yes we did. 😆 It was definitely a first and was oddly comforting to see other family members and event crews cleaning up marigolds from that weekends largest Dia de los Mu***os event when we arrived.
