Writing a wedding ceremony is not a "cut and paste" assignment. Special attention should be given to every section of the ceremony text. And, every section should have its relationship to the section before, and the one after. Presentation "Flow" shouldn't be rushed. A good Wedding Ceremony Writer knows this from experience!

Brea Ceremony Scramble: For the Ceremony Presenter, the space between each sentence, section and paragraph can focus or detract the ceremony presentation flow. Even, establishing "Sentence Justification", one way or the other, will aid or abet the ceremony presenter's reading flow. Dr. Linda

Brea Wedding Couple's WordDocx Scramble: Next, I set the paragraph pitch, geared to the ceremony presenter's ease when presenting. Each Section's "Headers" will be larger than the "Paragraph" text. So, for example, if the "Headers" are at 24 pitch, then, the "Paragraph" text is at 18. I personally use slightly larger pitch for the "Paragraph" texts. Also, personalize the Title with the couple's Name, Ceremony Date & Place. Personalizing the Title, immediately sets a personal tone for the ceremony script writer while writing. Dr. Linda

"I couldn't follow the wedding presenter's message! He seemed disoriented. The presenter must have skipped a page! He went "red-faced" in the midst of it, and lost his composure! He never really recovered from the whole thing. Even at the reception, he stayed to himself! He knew that he messed it all up! His friendship with the bride and groom felt tainted!"

1. In clearing up the "word congestion", inherent to my Brea, CA couple's "Cut&Paste" WordDocx text, I did a few simple things:

a. Inserted "Page Numbers". Not something novice wedding ceremony presenter's actually do! In the example above, the presenter was so stuck on his performance style, that he never considered the importance of "Sign-Posting" ---- Like "leaving bread crumbs" to navigate one's self back out of the woods, so to speak. --- Simply adding page numbers, from the start, signals the brain to organize.

More "Sign Posting" ideas in next few posts.

A Bride With A Ceremony "Cut & Paste" WordDocx - When a couple, "Cuts & Pastes" words and phrases into a WordDocx, it lacks "Presenter's Flow". This is where I start today. Thinking like a presenter, I must move this Brea couple's favourites into a "Presenter's Order"!

Step One: Cleanup the word clutter! What does this look like? Well, this is where I work on "Structuring" for the wedding ceremony presenter. Before the words are even finessed, I "Build the Infrastructure"! ---This is the "Good Bones" of a wedding ceremony!

I shall invite you into this part of the process, on the next post. Dr. Linda

"He blathered on, and seemed to miss words often".... My quote, based on watching someone's friend or family member preside their first wedding ceremony. Yes, they mean well, but, the whole point of their purpose is lost in the mistakes!

So, in this series, I will present just a few suggestions! Not, copied from the Internet, but, mine, as an International Ceremony Writer. I am the CEO of the first and only Ceremony Writers Guild around!

Currently, I am writing a ceremony for a couple marrying in Brea, CA. Their friend has NEVER presented a wedding ceremony, so, they need some real help! In this case, my help!
