If I can give you any advice for the toasts it is this:

1. NO OPEN MIC. Please don’t give everyone free will to speak at the wedding. The things that have been said 😟 during some of these are just 🫠.
2. Keep your list small approx 3-4 people. Typically parents, MOH and BM.
3. Keep it at 3 mins per toaster. Remember it’s a toast, shorty, simple and sweet and not an entire 30 minute speech. The longer the speech the more it pushes into your event timeline.
4. WHATEVER YOU DO, DONT SLIP THE TOASTS.
This is a common mistake but when you’re splitting the toasts, it just pushes your timeline or it makes dinner service way late. Remember we truly never know how long one speaking for.
5. Let your guests have dinner first and at the end of dinner once all tables have been serviced, then proceed with toasts.
6. Dont forget to add, “Raise your glasses”. You’d be surprised how many times this isn’t said.

Anyway, that’s just MY advice.
