A brand-new school year means new beginnings, new friendships, new challenges, new opportunities, and so many chances to grow. ❤️

To every student walking through those doors today: Believe in yourself. Be brave. Be kind. Ask for help when you need it. Include someone who may be standing alone. And never be afraid to be exactly who you are.

Some of us learn differently.
Some communicate differently.
Some need a little extra time or support.
Some shine in ways you may not notice right away.

But EVERYONE belongs. Everyone has something to contribute. And everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed. 🧡

To the teachers, aides, therapists, administrators, bus drivers, support staff and families who make it all happen- THANK YOU for seeing the potential in every student and helping them find their place to shine.

Our Taco Team is taking a little break today! ❤️ With 80% of the crew away enjoying some much-needed family time, there will be no Taco Tuesday tonight at Sweet Clementine’s.

But don’t worry… WE’LL BE BACK NEXT TUESDAY! 🌮🍊

❤️ THIS ONE WAS EXTRA SPECIAL. ❤️

After many years of taking care of the students, staff and halls of Massapequa High School’s Ames Campus, the beloved Frank retired!🎉

We were so honored that Sweet Clementine’s was chosen to cater his retirement celebration. Thank you, Lisa and Frank, for trusting us to be a small part of such an important day. 🍊

But this catering order meant even more to us because some of our Massapequa job-training students know Frank themselves.

Before we started, we asked them:

“How would you describe Frank?”

Their answers were simple and absolutely perfect. ❤️

“He’s nice.”
“He’s silly.”
“He’s always there.”
“I like him.”

And then they got to work. 💪🍊

Our students helped prepare Frank’s catering order, building the heroes, making the Caesar salad, preparing wraps and working side-by-side with our team to get everything ready for his celebration.

They were SO excited knowing who they were making it for.

And THAT is what Sweet Clementine’s is all about.

Yes, we made lunch for a retirement party. But behind those trays were young adults learning job skills, working as a team, taking pride in something they created and contributing to their own community.

These are the moments that remind us why we started Sweet Clementine’s in the first place.

Food brings people together.
Work creates confidence and independence.
Community creates belonging. ❤️

We are grateful every single day for the opportunity to provide inclusive employment and hands-on job training, while building a business where people of all abilities have the opportunity to learn, work, grow and shine.

And sometimes, we get to do all of that while celebrating someone who has spent years quietly being “always there” for everyone else.

Congratulations on your retirement, Frank! 🎉

Meet Cousin Billy, the inspiration behind our SILLY BILLY! 💛🍊

Billy stopped by Sweet Clementine’s and, of course, had to make sure everyone knew exactly where HIS drink was on the menu. 😂👉

The Silly Billy was created and named by Joey himself, because apparently Cousin Billy has earned quite the reputation around here. 🤪

We LOVE when the people behind our crazy drink names stop in to visit! 🥰

Uncle Danny traded the night shift for the Sweet Clem’s kitchen and teamed up with Zach to whip up all kinds of goodies! These two spent the morning baking, mixing and creating fresh muffins, desserts, puddings and more, and judging by this photo, they’re pretty proud of themselves. 😂
